Jack enjoyed a long and well-traveled hockey career, playing with the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Noranda Copper Kings, Sudbury Wolves, Halifax St. Mary’s, and Montreal Royals prior to joining the Dunlops. He was the regular netminder for the Dunlops until ex-NHLer John Henderson was acquired in advance of the World Championships.
Jack was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and worked for Quaker Oats in Peterborough, Ontario until he retired in 1988.
