Al Ashton

Al was born in 1951 in Stouffville, Ontario, and began playing lacrosse in 1963 after his family had moved to Brooklin. He was a member of the B&R Transporters from 1970-1972 and played Senior lacrosse in Windsor, Brooklin, and Oshawa until he retired as an active player in 1987.

During his career, Al represented Canada at the World Field Lacrosse Championships in Melbourne, Australia in 1974. During that same year, he reached the Mann Cup finals as a member of the Windsor Warlocks.
