Jack was born in Northern Ontario near Kirkland Lake and moved from Whitby in 1948. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for the General Motors in Oshawa, retiring in 1980. Jack’s accomplishments are as follows:

1960-62-Coached Midget House League Hockey

1963 -Coached Bantam House League Hockey

1964-65 -Elected in W.M.H.A. executive in each year to 1989-90

1970 -Was Contact person for all W.M.H.A. terams until 1989-0

1980 -Convened the Lakeshore Group for the O.M.H.A. until 1992

1988 -Recieved Chairman's Special Award from the C.A.H.A. for

outstanding Services to minor hockey.
