Sport: Hockey Category: Player Year Inducted: 1998 George Gosselin played his Junior A hockey with the Galt Black Hawk in 1950-51 and left for the Philadelphis Falcons of the Eastern Amateur League in 1951. The Falcons folded at Christmas and Gosselin ended up with the Sarnia Sailors playing OHA Senior A. From 1952-59 George played for the North Bay Trappers of the NOHA Senior A lEauge, being picked up by the "Dunnies" in 1958 for the World Tournament. In 1959 he was picked up by yhe Belleville McFarlands also to compete in the world Tournament. In the 1959-60 season George played for the Cleveland Barons of the AHL and in 1960-61 with the Kingston Frontenacs of the easter Pro league. The 1961-62 season saw him with the North Bay Trappers of the Eastern Pro League then on to the Clinton Comets and the New Haven Blades in 1962-64. In 1964-65, George became the playing coach for the Moncton Hawks of the Maritime Sr. A Hockey League.
