Sport: Hockey Category: Player Year Inducted: 1998 Charlie Burns was the all round athlete on the Club. Not only was he a tremendous, dogged center at hockey but he could have had a career at baseball as well. Burns was working out as a catcher at the Toronto Maple Leaf Baseball training camp in Florida when he told manager Dixie Walker that he was leaving to finish some business in Toronto.
