Wayne Davidson

Wayne was born in Oshawa and moved to Brooklin where he began playing hockey, lacrosse and softball. In 1962 and 1963, he played for the Whitby Consumers Gas Juvenile Hockey team and in 1964, after trying out for the New York Rangers Jr. A team in Kitchener, Wayne returned to Whitby to play for the Lasco Steelers in the Metro Jr. B League. His lacrosse career began with the Lasco Steelers Jr. B team and in 1967 he played for the Oshawa Green Gaels team that won the Minto Cup. In 1968 and 1969, Wayne was a part of the Brooklin Redmen who won the Mann Cup both years.

Wayne joined the Oshawa Police Force in 1967.
