Update: Whitby Sports Hall of Fame 2021 Induction Gala
(Posted on January 7, 2021)
The Board of Directors of the Whitby Sports Hall of Fame would like to announce that our 2021 Gala Induction Ceremonies will be staged as a live stream event on Saturday, April 24, 2021 (start time to be confirmed). The festivities will combine some live-feed presentations with pre-recorded video segments to help celebrate the careers and the accomplishments of this year’s honourees: Carolyn Mountjoy, Gil Nieuwendyk, Shawn Williams, and the 1964/66 Brooklin Concretes softball team.
For all friends of the Hall who would like to view the broadcast in real time, virtual tickets will be available as of February 1, 2021 at a cost of $25.00 tax included, with all proceeds directed to offsetting production costs. The virtual ticket will enable the purchaser to access a secured link to a private YouTube channel shortly before the program begins.
Multiple guests can watch this live stream event from the same location, in accordance with any social gathering protocols that may be in place at that time.
All individuals or groups who have previously purchased physical tickets for the 2021 Gala can request a full refund at their convenience prior to March 31, 2021.
